Michael HuYoung has practiced law in Virginia for 25 years and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.  He has attained the AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating.  Mr. HuYoung was profiled as "one of the top criminal lawyers in Virginia" by Virginia Business Magazine in 2001. 

He has served on the Board of Directors of the Law School Association at the University of Richmond from 1994-1997.  He is an active member of the Henrico Bar Association, served as Liaison to the Courts Committee.  He chaired the Court Docent Committee in 1997and 2002.  He was chairman of the Criminal Law Section of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association from 2002 - 2005, and on its Board of Governors.  Currently, he is active in its Continuing Legal Education Committee responsible for conducting seminars for practicing attorneys throughout the state.

Mr. HuYoung was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Cultural and Fine Arts Center at Glen Allen for Henrico County (1995-2000).
